Jase is finally over the 4lb. mark. They have added extra calories to his milk so what he does take in is fortified. Next week he should be able to start nipple-feeding. When he is able to do that we will be one step closer to being able to come home. He has had no more major episodes like yesterday, which of course is a relief. He looks like such a big boy in the open bed! Although there's really not much actually different between his being in the isolette and in the bed, it just seems so much more normal and less scary. There's a chance he will have to go back in the isolette if he doesn't do well, but hopefully not.
